Words Count

“Be Impeccable With Your Word. Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.” – Miguel Angel Ruiz

“Think twice before you speak, because your words and influence will plant the seed of either success or failure in the mind of another.” - Napoleon Hill

One of my resolutions is to stop complaining, which is rooted in negative thoughts. Listen closely to your words and thoughts. You will be surprised by what you say and think, especially about little things. Actions count. Words count. Use both of them well and with love.

  2. I just finished reading this book the other day and I thought the advise of “being impeccable with your word” was one of the best parts of the book.

  4. For some reason I could not put a like on this. It kept asking me log in, even when I’m logged in.
Never mind that however, I liked this article because I believe in this so much. I try to be positive with everyone I meet, thank people for the kind things they do, compliment them on little things, like some pretty earrings someone might be wearing, or their hairdo etc.

I found that just a smile and a hello can brighten a person’s day. We all have these spiritual banks and for all the bad things that happen to us, we need many positives to over come our bank being empty.

I was recently in the hospital with pneumonia and every time I started to complain to myself, I told myself, this is nothing compared to what our soldiers suffer when they come home with lost legs, arms, terrible burns. It did the trick and put me in a better frame of mind.
