“Life is made up, not of great sacrifices or duties, but of little things, in which smiles and kindness, and small obligations given habitually, are what preserve the heart and secure comfort.” – Humphry Davy
Distracted driving is a byproduct of distracted living, a dangerous one at that. Over-committed, self-centered and over-extended. When our attention is scattered wide instead of deep, we miss what and who’s right in front of us.
We are all connected and here for a purpose beyond ourselves. So instead of racing to finish first, we can choose to “share the road” and enjoy the scenery together. Be kind. Share your time, talent, gifts and attention and encourage others to do the same.
It’s a good life. Slow down and participate.
