The Chase
“A sense of humor… is needed armor. Joy in one’s heart and some laughter on one’s lips is a sign that the person down deep has a pretty good grasp of life.” – Hugh Sidey
Abby was well-pleased that she was able to sneak a pair of socks outside. When I went to pick them up, she grabbed them, began flipping them in the air and the chase began. In simple things, in laughter, in silliness of something as small as this, our load lightens, and joy opens the window to let fresh air in.
Chase joy and laughter today. In a smile, in play, in simple moments, delight awaits discovery, a blessing delivered.
“Mix a little foolishness with your serious plans. It is lovely to be silly at the right moment.” – Horace
