The Sound of Color, the Song of Yes

“The sound of colors is so definite that it would be hard to find anyone who would express bright yellow with base notes, or dark lake with the treble.” – Wassily Kandinsky

“God needs just a mustard-seed-sized place that is in love, that is open to grace, that is thrilled, that has found something wonderful. We’ve got to go back and build from that “Yes” place—or faith is not faith.”— Richard Rohr, The Wisdom Pattern: Order, Disorder, Reorder

May memory of what was, planning for what is to come remain yet not center stage;
Invite and allow space for what is now to take hold of your attention, feeding and care;
Past, present, future altogether with a focus on the present;
Weed out what is necessary, plant seeds and be open to the color, the song of this new day;
Inquiry, observation, praise;
Quiet, listening, stillness;
Order, disorder, reorder;
A place of “Yes” and grace;

“Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.” – George Bernard Shaw
