The Field

“I firmly believe that any man’s finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle – victorious.” – Vince Lombardi

There are some weeks that are so intense and exhausting, it’s easy to lose perspective, to go numb and negative. Don’t. And when given the choice to lay it all on the field or to sit on the sidelines as a spectator, muster the courage to pick the field every time. It’s in you, lay it down. And then celebrate the victories.

“Our duty is to encourage every one in his struggle to live up to his own highest idea, and strive at the same time to make the ideal as near as possible to the Truth.” – Swami Vivekananda
